Mix & Match - Final Days!

Dear Supporters,
As our campaign comes to a close we wanted to share a little gif we've made showing the different colour combos available to those of you that have ordered multiple Soapstones, or are planning to add extras during the post-campaign survey.
Each Soapstone is made of an Outer Body and a Bottle - these parts regardless of metal or plastic are interchangeable, so by interchanging parts at home you're able to mix and match your Soapstones!
With 2 days now remaining this is the final push to share with your friends and get as many pairs of eyeballs on this project as possible! We cannot wait to get these out to you!!

A warm welcome and hello to everyone that backed Soapstone 2.0 since our last update! We're entering the final chapter of this campaign - the push to the finish! We've been in near constant communication with our manufacturing partners and cannot wait to get started!
We've also been hard at work getting the BackerKit surveys setup - this is a 3rd party tool used by almost every Kickstarter campaign for collecting your addresses and offering the all important add-on store where you'll be able to pickup extras, confirm all your colours and let us know where to send them!

What an AMAZING first week - thank you all so much for supporting Soapstone.
We are so excited to answer some FAQs, encourage you to share the campaign, and share some BIG news about NEW colour options.
THIRD COLOUR
The big news: we are introducing a third colour as our £100k stretch goal.
We have heard your feedback on our triple set needing differentiation, and we are so happy to introduce our newest colour for the metal Soapstones: Charcoal. Featuring a two-tone finish and coming as standard with a matching black tab, we're really excited about this one! This colour will be available only if we reach £100k so get sharing the campaign if you'd like to order it!!
Adding to the lineup alongside the Midnight Blue and Silver - Charcoal will be available once we reach £100k!

We are also over the moon to introduce a punchy third colour for our plastic versions - Terracotta. Again in two-tone and featuring the light surface finish of our plastic range and standard webbing tab that matches the body. Terracotta provides a burst of colourcalm.

FAQs
Colour tabs: another really cool way to customise and differentiate your Soapstone would be to have different colourway tabs as optional add ons. We have been thinking about this since some of you started suggesting it - and while it would mean a small design tweak to the internals of Soapstone, this is definitely something we are looking at in detail and may actually save a tiny bit of time in production! Win-win!
\Whatever we decide here though, we want to prioritise high functionality, and with a change to the assembly, we would want to be confident on function before offering it as an option to our customers. Stay tuned!
Liquid contents: we’ve been seeing a lot of questions about liquids compatible with the dispenser. Pretty much any viscosity of toiletry will work, from gels to creams to toothpaste. The only notable exception are toiletries with heavy particulates or microbeads, as these will block the pump and make the Soapstone stop working. We do not recommend using these with Soapstone.
Soapstone at altitude: the 2.0 uses the same airless pump as the 1.0, but with improved housing. We tested the 1.0 extensively - users have taken them all over the world and with proper reassembly after refill, they are totally leakproof and airline safe! That said, we would not advise keeping it in a very hot sealed car. Cars in direct sun can reach temperatures over 65 centigrade, and even the best designed product cannot be guaranteed to hold a seal at these temperatures.
Cleaning: Soapstone should ideally be cleaned between fluid changes, but not if you're only topping it up with the same stuff. This can be done under a tap in a few seconds. Nothing in Soapstone will rust or corrode.

We cannot thank you all enough for supporting Soapstone 2.0 so early on! To the old school kids who supported our first campaign, those of you who have just found us via Kickstarter and to all the friends and family supporting us - thank you 💚
We can't wait to get Soapstone 2.0 into production and have them sent out to all of you!
Adding extra units to your order
In this update we wanted to address a couple of the repeat questions we've been getting - mainly around adding extra units to your order.
We are partnering with Backerkit to handle all of our post-campaign address surveys, and they give us the abiltiy to offer an 'add-on store'. Here you can fully customise your pledge level, let us know what colours you'd like and how many metal or plastic Soapstone's you want, as well as adding as many additional units as you fancy. We're choosing to do this in BackerKit not Kickstarter because it simplifies the process and make its massively more clear for our warehouse partners to correct pick and pack your orders.
Please remember to share Soapstone with all of your friends and family, it helps us immeasurably!
